Hands-on layout exercise
Design is a language best learned through practice. In this hands-on exercise, participants will craft their own spatial layouts, applying principles of ergonomics, flow, and composition. Together, we explore real-world design challenges and creative solutions.
Participants split in groups of two and collaborate towards furnishing an assigned room.
They are provided with a magnetic scaled floor plan and 3D-printed furniture pieces.( a simulation to real life scenarios)
Assign to each team specific client personas to encourage creative problem-solving.
Facilitate discussions on their design choices, focusing on functionality and aesthetics.
